Two New Pattern Books
Hi all,
I just got my two new knitting books from amazon.com today. One was Mason Dixon Knitting (oh boy! I can't wait to make a number of things in here.) And sexy little Knits (ummmm... what yarn do I use for swimware?).
Also, I have 25 1/2" of my scarf done.

They make a cotton-elastic blend yarn that does well for swimware, as it tolerates the water, but the elastic in it keeps it from sagging too much. One of the name brands is Cascade Fixation. There's an episode of Knitty Gritty where they did an entire bikini out of the stuff.

Thanks for the heads up on that yarn blend. I will have to give it a try. I don't like to swim in the water around here anyway. LOL
